Perhaps it's not the oldest fort in the world... however, it is an important one nonetheless. It is established as an outpost of civilization; Western Civilization, specifically of the American kind. I have few hopes for the poor structure. Until I learn how to keep it in good working order I fear it shall be lost to the ages! But is that not the fate of all great peoples and ideas?
